Dear friend,

Can you please join us at an urgent protest in support of global access to COVID vaccines and treatments?

While Americans and Western Europeans increasingly have widespread access to COVID vaccination, huge numbers of people in low- and middle-income nations won't have access to vaccines for years unless global production is dramatically increased.

To increase vaccine production, the vast majority of countries — including the United States — support waiving certain trade-related intellectual property rights (TRIPS) at the World Trade Organization so that COVID vaccines can be produced in as many places as possible as quickly as possible.  But Germany is blocking a final agreement.

German Chancellor Angela Merkel is coming to the United States next week — a rare opportunity for activists like you to directly increase the pressure on her to stop putting Big Pharma profits ahead of an end to the pandemic.

Please join us at a protest below to tell the Chancellor that every day of delay on the TRIPS waiver means thousands more needless deaths and increased chances of a viral mutation that starts the pandemic all over again for everyone.

The global TRIPS waiver campaign has asked us to rise to this moment, and we need your help!
